Proposed Itinerary:

• Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
• Day 2: Hanoi halfday City tour – Halong City
• Day 3: Halong – Hanoi
• Day 4: Hanoi – Departure

Tour Program Detail

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (-/-/D)

Upon landing at Noi Bai Intl airport,tour guide and driver to  pick you up and transfer to hotel for check in (After 14:00). Free time at your hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight in Hanoi

• Meals                 Dinner at Bang Lang Restaurant or similar – Vietnamese Food (No pork)
• Distance          Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi Central: 35km à 45 minutes drive.

DAY 2: HANOI HALF DAY CITY – HALONG (B/L/D)  

After breakfast, start the tour by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho – and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-palace lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. After that, we will continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam – Vietnam’s first University, constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Then we will stop at Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) and learn more about the lake’s legend, visiting outside of Ngoc Son Temple.

After lunch, leave for Halong Bay was awarded by UNESCO as a natural heritage in 1994. This four hour drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey. Dinner at local restaurant and then check-in hotel. Free time shopping at Halong Night Market.

Overnight in Halong

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Lunch at Red House Hanoi Restaurant or similar – Vietnamese Food (No pork)
  • Dinner at Vietnam Halong Restaurant or similar – Vietnamese Food (No pork)
• Distance: Hanoi – Halong: 165km à 4 hour transfer including break time on the way

Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is opened in the morning only and closed on Mondays, Fridays for maintenance. So, you will visit outside of Ho chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s House on stilt, One pillar pagoda as normal

DAY 3: HALONG – HANOI (B/L/D)

After breakfast, start enjoying 4 hour boat trip. We walk into the Thien Cung cave (Heaven Palace cave) to admire thousands of stalactites and stalagmites colored by hundreds of neon lights. Back to the boat for cruising along the core of the World Nature Heritage to see the Incense Bowl islet, Cock fighting islets Sail islet, Turtle Island…. A delicious seafood lunch will be served when we completely relax on boat. Having seafood lunch and seeing the wonderful sightseeing from the ship’s windows. 12:00 at noon, finish our boat trip and back to our vehicle for transferring to Hanoi with stopovers at Ceramic and Hand Embroidery Workshop en route. At around 17:00 we will be back to Hanoi. Then free shopping at Hanoi Old Quarter and Dong Xuan Market.

  • Lunch on boat with fresh seafood – Vietnamese Food (No pork)
  • Dinner at Minh Anh Restaurant or similar – Vietnamese Food (No pork)
• Distance: Halong – Hanoi: 165km à  4 hour drive including break time on the way

DAY 4: HANOI DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

The day is at your leisure for last minute sight-seeing or shopping until your transfer to Noi Bai International airport for your onward flight.
